The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
