TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
